Del Valle Campout
May 8-9, 2010
Del Valle is a reservoir south of Livermore, with a nice campground at the south end. Each May, ACTC has a campout there. This campout is well supported, as a SAG vehicle will carry everybody's gear, and also haul the club's cooking trailer. People need to bring their own tent and sleeping bag. People are expected to sign up for the chores of cooking and cleaning up for the meals.
The start location is at Murphy Park in Milpitas. To get there, take Hwy 680 north, exit at Landess, then turn left on Park Victoria, and then right on Yellowstone. Murphy Park is on the left. People can leave their cars overnight, but beware that car theft can happen, although nothing has happens on other years.
