Pinnacles CampoutRoute To | Route From | Route MapThe Pinnacles Campout is a good way to try out self-contained touring. The routes are about 80 miles each way, but the hills are not too bad. Camp Reservations are needed. The Pinnacles Campground is now a part of the Pinnacles National Park. The Pinnacles Campground has a small store and a swimming pool. During the summer only Duraflame logs are allowed, but that works out fine. If the plan is to stay for 2 nights, then the middle day could be used for hiking in the park. There is a free shuttle to take you into the park, about 2 miles away. Some good links |
