Bodega Head and Bodega Bay Exploration RRC043, 42.8 miles, 1400 feet of climbing Here's an easy exploration of Bodega Head and Bodega Bay. Lots of ocean views, bay views, marinas, dunes, and beaches. Only one class 3 hill just above the Russian River at Highway 1, otherwise short hills. If you'd prefer, you can shorten the ride by driving to one of the beaches along Hwy 1 and then ride to Bodega Bay. Bodega Head is a wildlife refuge and is known for its "Hole in the Head", a huge crater that can be found if you feel like exploring. Sea otters and other creatures are often found at the refuge.
