I think that I had my best night of sleeping this last night. Finally getting used to the sleeping bag and tent. When I awoke, people were already well on their way of getting packed up. There was no breakfast for us this morning, as the vans wanted to be all loaded up and on the road by 7:30 to drop us off at St.George and then continue on to las Vegas to drop off the others. Amazingly, we left the KOA right on schedule. It seemed like complicated logistics for the tour group, but everything was going smoothly and on schedule.

Back at the St.George airport, I found my van just as I left it, and was very happy to see that it started right up with no problem. I moved it over closer and then went and got our bikes and bags. We said some quick goodbyes and then the tour group was gone. Steve and Katrina, from San Francisco were left with us, so we decided to first go find breakfast and then start our long drive home. Steve and Katrina were going to stay a day in Las Vegas. I think the way we did it, with the Las Vegas stop at the beginning worked out the best, as we would have been too tired to fully enjoy Las Vegas now at the end.

Kim took the first time of driving. I took the second. And Debbie took the third. This got us all of the way to Gilroy where we stopped in for dinner. I drove on in from there. As we were pulling into San Jose, Kim announced that she was finally starting to miss Ken. We told her that was good timing. We dropped Debbie off first at 8:30 PM, then Kim, and I was home by 9:00 PM.

Totals for the day were 50 miles plus 640 miles equals 690 miles.
