Letter # 75 - July 11, 1979

People,

This letter is to double-check about this immigration visa business. They say that they still need a letter from Dad's employer showing what his job is and how much he gets paid.

Hopefully, you would have received another letter from us telling you this. It was sent with one volunteer (Bob Stein) who was returning to Redwood City today. He should have mailed the letter from there, so this letter is just to make sure.

Send the letter from Dad's employer direct to: Norman Alexander, Freetown, Sierra Leone, Department of State, Washington DC 20520.

Also, we are to leave on Sept 20 and arrive in San Francisco at Sept 21, Friday at about 3:00. We won't bother trying to fly to the San Jose airport this time.

Any presents that we bring home will probably be clothes, so we could use all of your measurements.

I just mailed another letter to you today. It was written over a week ago, and I gave it to Diana to mail, but then she found it in her bag this morning.

I got my two cavities fixed this morning. The dentist uses novocane, so I didn't feel a thing. The only trouble now is that it is now over two hours later and still my mouth is more asleep than ever.

Love,
Donny and Diana
